• Watch Hill, RI017/2/2023I have given Holdredge Cottage rentals 5 stars because I am never disappointed when I rent from them. My cottage is always welcoming and feels like home when I arrive. The cottage is immaculate and furnished with everything I need to relax and unwind. the porch is my favorite spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The beach is just a block away and they supply you with chairs and an umbrella and free admittance to the beach. The only problem is I hate to leav!UsefulFunnyCool

 5 *  What a beautiful spot overlooking Watch Hill harbor with a view from the deck all the way to the carousel. The house is situated in a private compound yet a few minutes walk to town and beaches. Everything about the property was neat, clean, well appointed, and comfortable. My family sends thanks to Jane and Charlie Holdredge for providing the perfect vacation home in lovely Watch Hill. We are hoping to return next year.      

5 *   This was our second year staying at the main house and, because our family included four generations this year, we also rented one of the cottages. We had a fantastic week of glorious beaches, beautiful sunsets as well as nightly carousel rides (for the little ones) and ice-cream cones. The main house and cottage were immaculate, with gleaming hardwood floors, lovely (and functional) furniture, and every amenity you could want.The grounds were well cared for and spacious with the quaint but bustling harbor, town and beaches just a few minutes walk from our door. We loved the proximity of it all!! Many thanks to Jane and Charlie Holdredge for providing the perfect vacation property for our family. We all look forward to returning.  

5 * My husband and I have  rented from Jane and Charlie for several years!    The home is clean,  spacious, and has all the amenities of home,  situated on a very nice private property!      It has been a wonderful  gathering place to spend time with our adult children!  The views are  spectacular, whether at sunset, early morning, or after sunset with the  lights of the boats in the harbor!  Sometimes we can hear the surf  crashing on the other side of the sand bar.  The town is a few minutes   walk away, with a fine dining establishment and several other smaller  restaurants, all family oriented.  East Beach and the lighthouse are  also a few minutes walk away as well as the private beach that is  available to guests of the  Holdredges!   We highly recommend this  rental!   You won't be disappointed!  Jane and Charlie go out of their  way to insure a most pleasant visit! 

5 *  Our family of three has stayed at the Holdredges' Cottage for 17 years during our annual family beach vacation. Jane and Charlie are consistently wonderful hosts and our cottage is always neat, clean and ready for us. For the few suggestions that we have offered over the years to make our stay more comfortable, Jane and Charlie have always been very responsive. We host our family reunion during this week, and they have been very helpful with extra chairs, tables, etc. If you want to be in Watch Hill, this is the place to stay!

We  are so fortunate to have these great people return every year. We look  forward to seeing them and to watch their son grow into a young man.  It's like family coming home once a year. 

  We have been staying at the main house for years and it is always fantastic. The location is perfect, a short walk to either the Carousel or East Beach. A locker is provided for chairs and beach toys, so you don't have to lug things there and back. The home is immaculate and comfortable. Plenty of room for my wife and two daughters, and a wonderful spot for entertaining guests. The view of the marina from the deck is a great place for a morning cup of coffee or a cookout with a view of the setting sun. The owners, Jane and Charlie could not be nicer hosts. We can't wait to go back.    

 We are looking forward to this year's stay. You have such a wonderful location. You are very private, yet in the heart of Watch Hill. We love the fact that you take such good care of your house and cottages. You always make us feel so at home.  

 My family and I had a wonderful vacation. The beach cottage was a perfect location. We could walk to the beach and walk into town. My daughter and her friend could walk to the candy store or just down town because it so safe and friendly. The town and beaches are pristine. I have booked for next year.    

. We found the cottage to be the perfect location to the beach, shops, etc. In addition, it was very clean and minimalist (not cluttered). The June nights gave way to cool temps so we found no need for AC. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again. Thank you to the Holdredges!
